Yes mine shot up at times, had racing heart palpitations very scary moments. not all the time but every few days. It came on towards the end of the 3rd depo and stayed for the 4th one and calmed down when I the zoladex ran out. I'd never had heart palpitations before

and usually my BP is lower than 'normal' so it certainly was an unpleasant experience.

Were we actually separated at birth?? My blood pressure is usually low, shot up with Zoladex, and although the GP said it wasn't the Zoladex, it was. It went down again when I stopped taking it.

LOL - seems like it doesn't it. Mum assures me I was a single pregnancy... and I look too much like her for her and her mother not to be my biological mother and grandmother.

Thanks so much....i was feeling very anxious that it went 140/100 sometimes above and sometimes below. I know in my heart it is due zoladex. After my fourth injection I started to have lot of headaches....and today was horrible. Spoke to dr...he asked to take plenty of rest and forget about bp....but one certainly cant. Head tells another story.

I ended up on bp pills while on zoladex. my BP was around 190/112 eeek. I had my last zoladex in feb, hoping bp will settle down and that i can come off the BP pills. I do test it myself at home and its almost normal now. Try not to worry. x

Really glad to hear you're feeling better now....i didn't want to take my last zoladex due to this problem, but my consultant insisted as I'm due for a surgery very soon. Today as it is high, it feels somebody is standing on my head. I am trying natural things for now...like beetroot juice, dandelion tea and plenty of sleep(if I am lucky).

Hi

I know this post is very old but you might still be able to help!

I am on zoladex and my blood pressure has go up to 200/84!

My Doc has given me RAMIPRIL but this has made absolutely no difference.

Question

Can you remember the name of the BP pills you were prescribed and did they reduce your BP back to safe levels! ??

Thanks

Good luck......lack of sleep was all so an issue while i was on zoladex too, so maybe that was a factor with high BP.

I have to stay on medication to make sure that BP is fine for while i'm in surgery. Just hope i aren't waiting too long as i hate being on any medication.(zoladex most of all)!! x
