Hello ladies. I have an endo mass attached to my rectum which i understand is higher up.my question is would anyone know if this would cause the stabbing lower rectal pains i get. Maybe its pressing on nerves. Would be grateful if anyone has experienced similar. Had colonoscopy back along and results normal . Thankyou :)

Hi there,

I'm not sure if I have endo yet, waiting for a lap to see, but I've had stabbing pains there for some time, years actually, I've never thought it was connected and perhaps it isn't for me, but totally understand the shock effect from it :)

Thankyou girls ....it is a right pain in the bum isnt it ;) couldnt resist sorry. Your replies are comforting and i feel your pain. Im at stage 4 but feel i dont suffer as much as some of you other brave girls. Yes ive had bits and pieces taken out lasered, adhesions ,kehole, laparotomy parts stuck to other parts. Now have stents in ureters and utis but through all ofthis my bottom talk has been my main concern. I dont have rectal bleeding or get constipated if anything im usually more the other way. I dont remember the last time i had a proper formed 'sausage',lol but when i do its usually slim and flat on one side. I scare myself stupid but gp doesnt sem concerned. Does anyone else experience this or similar with rectum endo masses or possibly kinks in bowel due to adhesions. Please keep me sanejust want to get to the 'bottom' of this. Chins up girls :) J xx
