i wasnt nervous before but i am now is this normal im having laparoscopy and ovarian drilling
in hospital waiting to have laparoscopy n... - Endometriosis UK
in hospital waiting to have laparoscopy nervous
Bless you, of course, it's normal to be nervous with any operation, and if this is your first Lap I am sure you are anxious as to what they will find and how they will treat it. So many women wait so very long not knowing exactly what's "in there", so now the time is here, you are bound to be anxious. Hard I know, just try to relax and look at it as one step closer to hopefully feeling much better after recovery. Hoping all goes well for you. xxx
its my 2nd lap more nervous than the 1st!
And I hope it will be the last one ever, and you will be pain and endo free
Good luck I hope everything goes well and have a speedy recovery.
(i was exactly like that, before my latest (2nd) lap I was more nervous than the 1st. )

Hospitals are horrible places, I hate even visiting people!
It's a strange environment, and you're not in control of what's going on....BUT if anything goes wrong - and I don't mean with the op, I mean with the nerves, if you throw up or think you're going to pass out - you're in the best place!
Just think, this time tomorrow it'll be over
Do you know where you are on the list?
C xxx
im 2nd on list they said in afternoon time thank you all for comments : )
So this time in about 3 hours you could be all done. About the time it would take to watch an Eastenders omnibus (although I hate Eastenders, I'd almost rather be waiting for the lap...)
Are you in with other ladies who are waiting? xxxx
no in a room on my own lol they dont let bo one else wait with you im watchin petre andres my life show,i like eastenders lol
We were at my brother's for Christmas and I was forced to watch an episode of Eastenders. None of them seemed very happy, considering it was Christmas. And somebody died in the snow and they all stood by and watched. And I was told he wasn't a very nice man but it didn't seem like a very Christmassy thing to do, just to let him perish there...
Are you watching Peter Andre by choice? Because I have opinions on that too, but I don't know if you are TeamAndre or TeamKatie...LOL! xxx
ya by choice i like petre but dont like kate shes a sl*t lol and yes eastenders christmas ep wasnt good seemed all a little rushed
I'm voting for Andre too! lol x
lol is that because you think he good to look at haha
How did you know??!!! lol xx
I hope you are all done by now and you will start feeling better soon! x
hello all is done now they found endo in four places which is a improvement although i had endometriosis since i was 14 and had operation at 20 years old which they found severe endometriosis in the past year going in again today they found the endo had came back hence the constant pain everyday it was found in 4 places not as severe as the last time which i didnt expect it to be with it only being a year since the last operation so it being in 4 places not so severe is still bad considering it had only been a year but i dont feel like they did anything to help after the lap last time and im determined to get it this time!. they also found huge polycystic ovaries which i already knew about but didnt do they huge and severe on my ovaries hence the no periods for a year they did ovarian drilling just thought id update on this stressful day sorry if i dont make sense just woke up : ) just happy i no whats going on with my body even if i am sore!
I'm happy for you, endo is cleared and now you can plan your treatments and life and hopefully you will be pain free for good! Have a speedy recovery
Jo xx
I'm glad to hear your lap went well and endo was found. I hope you are on your way to being pain free and Endo free. I have my first ever lap a week from today and I'm very nervous. I already have adenomyosis in my womb but my consultant seems to think I have it elsewhere as the Mirena hasn't helped with pain so far.
Hope you recover well, Annabel x
