Breakthrough bleeding on norethisterone.

Hi I have been on norethisterone for a long time and never had a problem but recently had off day of bleeding for a few hours then it stops anyone else had this? I'm taking 3a day

I take 2 a day and I had exactly the same thing a couple of days ago, I wouldn't worry too much hun, my gp says it's just our bodies desperately trying to do normal things. You're on the highest dose I think but to he's told me to up the dose to 3 a day when it happens again until the bleeding stops xx
