Hi all I am going to go to my first support meeting soon in London, though do you know if our partners can come along too?

I think it depends on who is arranging it, some do 'information days' will let partners, family members or even friends come along and others will prefer just to have girls. You'll need to check with who is arranging it.

Is it the endometriosis UK information day in London on the 6th (ish) of October? Because I know partners are allowed to that.

No its the 25th September, though I haven't got an address for the place on the email they sent so I've just emailed them.

Yes same I get exactly what you mean, people that don't go through this don't understand at all!!!

Would be lovely to meet you as well, I'm new to this world so I want more info of whats to come, how to get over things, having children etc so I think the meeting will put our minds at ease :)

Hi Girls

I help to run the support group for Endo UK in Sussex and we always welcome partners to our meetings. Most members are fine with this as, after all they (the partners) are struggling to understand this rotten disease and often don't know how to help. We had an excellent meeting discussing the difficulties endo causes with sex and relationship. Everybody agreed that it was really helpful. Hope you find the group helpful. Email Endo Uk and ask if you can contact the group leader if you want ot ask about it
