Thick mucus discharge after period that lasts over 1 week

Please can someone help, after every period i get really bad pains in my ovaries and pelvis along with really thick dark brown mucus (a lot of it) this lasts for over a week after my bleeding from period has stopped. Does anyone know what this is?

Hi, I do get this sometimes or something similar. It feels like I go straight from my period into the lead up to ovulation with no break inbetween. Have you been diagnosed with endo? Does the pain and mucus finish after mid-cycle/ovulation?

Yes i dont ever get a break from it either. Yes i have endo ive had a lot of ops etc i also seem to have exhausted all options in treatment but noithing has seemed to work?

Two months ago i went to the doctors and told them about my question and he gave me antibiotics even though my bloods/swaps showed no sign of infection?? This has made no improvement and im back to square one. Is this something normal with endo?

I literally bleed for 7-10 days then have mucus until about 4-5 days before i bleed again. The pain can be immobilising

I wish they would just give me a hysterectomy!!
