I believe that both endo and adenomyosis have be designated as disabilities by the govt. Your work can't sack you for having a disability as you have protection under the law. I would ask to be referred to your works Occupational Health and see if they can put in place a plan which enables you to work around your illness. Also call your local council to see if they have a Welfare Rights dept, not all do but if they have they are really helpful and can see if you can claim benefits and carry on working so you can reduce the hours you work.

I am not a huge fan of Unions but if you are a memeber they should help you as well

Good luck xxx

Endometriosis UK has a leaflet about this. They suggest the employer considers proactive adjustments for employees with endometriosis if the business can accommodate it, flexible hours or home working (where possible). Large employers could work with your occupational health dept to encourage managers and teams to share best practice. endometriosis-uk.org or call them and maybe ask for them to send you info on this - tel 020 7222 2781 - address 50 Westminster Palace Gardens, Artillery Row, London SW1P 1RR - hope this helps.

Thanks for the advise,

I've given my employers a leflet regards to Endometriosis in the work place. but dose this I cover Adenomyosis, dose it come under the same condition?
