No change, though I had a larger appetite for the first few weeks but that's it. Since I've come off it I've actually lost weight (and my boobs have shrunk!) x

I did put on weight, about a stone, but I was on it for 21 months. I came off it in January and quickly lost the weight again so at least it was only temporary! It did help me with pain but was a very difficult 21 months emotionally

Hey Tracey123 - i put on a couple of pounds after my first injection then after my second I completely lost my appetite. ive just had my fourth and since my 2nd ive lost half a stone

Wanabeamama - firstly i love your name :-) i have had itchy dry skin particularly my hands but my face is itchy, oily and spotty. Ive never suffered with spots, im 24 and have always had "lucky skin" ive only ever had to use soap and water, now im doing the entire cleanse tone moisturise routine on my face in a vain attempt to get rid. Ive just had last injection 3 weeks ago so hoping they go

Hi, I didn't put on weight whilst having the injections but after they stopped and I had to stop my hrt as well my periods still haven't returned 6 months later (this is unusual though). I put on a stone on 3 months and have never put on weight like that before.so be careful when you stop the injections also x

Hi,

I have been on Prostap now for 6 weeks and I have actually lost about a stone. I am not on HRT as I have been told this can reduce the effectiveness of the Prostap. My appetite has decreased, and I have been suffering some side effects like Hot flushes, tiredness and mood swings (altho these are not much worse than usual!)

I think if you can try and eat healthy, with lots of fruit and veg. Try slightly smaller portion sizes and get regular excersise. I find walking is the best for me!

I think everyone reacts differently to these injections. If you have ever been on the depo injection, merina or implant then your reaction to prostap in terms of weight gain or loss may be similar.

Hope this helps! Xx

Hi I have been on the prostap injection for four months and haven't put a pound on, in the first month i lost a stone through sickness and the last few months i keep loosing a few pounds and cant put any weight on despite increasing my diet. Good luck with the prostap i personally find it horrendous and will be so thankful when I've had my hysterectomy but everyone is different xx

hi thanks for your reply - did you put 2 stone eating rubbish or sticking to a strict diet and exercise - i am currently at slimming world and have lost 41/2lbs since taking them - did you put weight on straight away or was it gradual??
