Was told at my consultants appointment 5 weeks ago that the waiting list for an op was 4 months and was put on hormonal treatment (had another injection a week ago) and was gearing up for the wait to get my date for Oct/Nov. However I just got a telephone call from the hospital asking if I can come in on the 13th August!! Talk about shock has hadn't expected that at all. Still can't believe it.
