I was prescribed all 3 medication at the same time Smiley. In the end I took the amitriptyline alongside the prostap injections but not the ovestin.

No real reason apart from I felt I was managing ok without hrt and have continued to do so.Although the prostap injections have now been replaced by a hysterectomy which I had done 18 months ago.

I would have taken the ovestin as well as the other meds if I had felt the need to.

Thanks LittleMissManx it's good to know when other people have had the same treatment plan as yourselves. I only started last Friday so early days. I had a TAH/LSO in 2006 and further surgery in 2007 and after having continual problems I am now due to have my other ovary removed later this year hence the treatment plan.
