Just an update really!! I am off for my ultrasound on Monday to rule out or find fibroids and ovarian cysts! It is strange but I have suffered from anxiety all my life but I am excited about this scan. It is the start of my journey to find out what's really going on.
On another note. We are rapidly heading towards that time of the month again and the pulling pain is coming back. Anyone else get that?

I understand the weird excitement, its good to be able to get a diagnosis and know that the symptoms and pain aren't just 'in your head!' I used to get a pulling/dragging/heavy sensation - mine was due to endo affecting my bowel and pulling it out of shape.

Don't be disheartened if they don't find anything on the scan, the only way they can definitively diagnose endometriosis is by laparoscopy. A scan though is a very good place to start.

I went for a scan and it showed nothing and then went for a laproscopy and the doctors said i had severe endo. If they dont find anything you still need to insist they continue looking as i think the only way they can diagnose endo is by laposcpy.
