I got both my ovaries removed in 2000, 10 days after my 40th birthday, and was immediately put on HRT. I still got the occasional twinge of endo, but 18 months ago I was in agony and had a bleed. The following month I had a bleed and was in agony again, so I went to my GP, who told me to come off the HRT, which I did.
Up until a few months ago I was getting spotting and pain, but the spotting seems to have stopped for now, although the pain hasn't.
