Can you have endo and light/normal periods

This month I have had a light period but with really painful cramps and lower back ache(to the point I couldn't move or walk) nausea, tiredness etc

I've been having heavy periods for the past year and now it's light.

I haven't been diagnosed with endo but can you have light periods and have endometriosis. As I've seen it's mostly heavy periods.

Hiya

I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year and I have light periods. Only symptoms I have is infertility and since my laparoscopy I get tugging pains in my lower abdomen

Hope that helps, think the condition is very individual xx

Yes my flow was never particularly heavy, though the cycles were a little irregular at times and I always spotted a long time either side.

I had a 3.2cm Recto vaginal Endometriosis nodule attaching bowel, vagina and cervix , plus endo on bladder, us ligaments, peritoneum

Hi P

Yes you can have Endo with no symptoms. I didn't have any but was diagnosed after a Lap last year, my left side is fused x

I have some symptoms it's just my periods changed this month. I have painful sex, painful cramps, nausea, really bad mood swings (idk if endo can cause that) and some other stuff

Yes, my periods have never been heavy and they're mostly regular. Sometimes they only last a couple of days and I don't pass much blood at all. They can be incredibly painful and I have spotting for days after. I've had three procedures to remove endo from my bowel, inside my bladder and to mobilise my fallopian tubes and ovaries. I still have endo in the lining of my bowel so I would say that heavy periods are not a definite endo indicator.

Thank you, yeah mine are so painful I can't sleep or move and just cry. But it only lasts like 3 days and then it's just a dull ache.

Yes. Mine were sometimes heavy and yuk, other times were light/normal. One occasion it was really scanty and light. It just depends on my body I guess, we are all different.
