Nerve damage to thigh following laparoscopy

Hi everyone!

I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy 6 days ago. They found some endo, scarring and a prolapsed uterus (oh joy!). When I was getting dressed to go home, I realised that the front and sides of my right thigh was numb but at the same time very sensitive to touch - this still persists. I am not seeing my consultant until next week and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. The nurse explained it was quite normal to cut through nerves (!?) during the procedure and it would take a couple of months to heal.

Thanks for your time!
