it can be. I’ve had it for over 10 years. The room spins. Sometimes it knocks my balance and I end up on the floor. It can last a few moments to a few hours. It took years to get it confirmed as endo symptom after other things were ruled out. It could be inner ear imbalance, vestibular migraine or a number of other things. Best to get it checked out. It may be easily treated. Good luck
Hi, it could be… I am 2 months post op now and yesterday I had a dizzy spell for the first time since. Before the surgery, I had a few episodes of fainting or near fainting. GP got me to do a 24 hour ECG to rule out any heart condition like POTS but all clear. So maybe it is endo but I haven’t had any confirmation! Good luck investigating further 🙏
I am getting this to. Sometimes I just have to sit down otherwise I feel I might pass out. Have you had recent blood test? Xx
Hi!In case anyone needs this. There're two over the counter medications that can help with dizziness and vertigo symptoms in a situation when one has places to be but unable to move due to a vertigo episode. Both are sold as motion sickness tablets. My GP forbade me to take them *facepalm* but an othoneurologist I consulted confirmed they are the ones to be used for dizziness / vertigo episodes.
1) Stugeron 15. Active component: cinnarizine, 15 mg. Works for dizziness and motion sickness in general.
However, the therapeutic dose for dizziness and vertigo should be 25 mg. They are sold in Belgium at online pharmacies. 200 pcs per pack, around 15 EUR.
2) Kwells. Active component: hyoscine hydrobromide. Works for vertigo and severe motion sickness. Side effect: very dry mouth for a couple of hours, so keep a bottle of water nearby.
