Hi. Do anyone else keep feeling dizzy and light headed? Is it an endorsement think or just the hot weather
Dizzy: Hi. Do anyone else keep feeling... - Endometriosis UK
Dizzy
I have been experiencing this a lot lately. I have found keeping a box of raisins or cereal bar in my bag has helped just in case it's to do with blood sugar/blood pressure .
I do for the last 4 years but NHS can't say why but for me it's hormonal. It could be lots of things. Try ginger to help with sickness. X
Hi,
I have had dizzy symptoms for 18 months since about 3 weeks after my fist cyst rupture. At one point I collapsed at work and my heart rate fell, it lasted 6 weeks, Doctor diagnosed me with Labyrinthitis. The dizzy spells kept recurring and I was referred to ENT. ENT said it wasn't Labyrinthitis it was vestibular migraine ( have history of migraine) . Referral to neurologist confirmed migraines, said either stress related or hormonal !!!. At the same time this was going on I had cyst symptoms and had a scan to reveal 10 cm cyst on R ovary. 6 weeks later surgery to remove a 10cm cm cyst (this was the same cyst that ruptured 18 months ago which was only 5 cm then, after the rupture it went to 4 cm and they thought it was resolving so stopped scanning me).
Surgery also relieved stage 4 Endo, I am convinced that this was/is the cause of my dizzy migraines... They put me on migraine medication, but I was allergic to it, so now cyst removed I am going to wait and see if my dizzy migraines resolve. However, I still have a lot of Endo in me, so we will see.
Long story short, I am absolutely convinced that this horrible disease causes my dizzy spells,
that are debilitating in them selves and can last weeks ...
Thanks all. I'm due back at work tomorrow after having my days off. Is there anything I can do to stop it happening? And I also have an appointment the my doctor on Friday do I say anything about the dizzy and feeling sick thing.
