I have had severe endometriosis for years (awaiting date for 3rd lap). My 13yr old daughter got her 1st period a year ago... all started fine, no issues she did everything she ever did (bicycle, swim, never missed school etc) Now she has started to complain about cramps (mild pain?) Could this be endometriosis? I was all I hoped that she wouldn't suffer like me- I don't think I'll ever be right no matter what treatment, meds, surgeries they do. Praying 🙏 this won't be her cross to bear 😢 Pharmacist suggested paracetamol & evening primrose oil. Haven't been on that oil since my own childhood & that was likely for a different reason. Any thoughts?

Hello Roellen,
Your concern for your daughter is completely understandable, and you’re absolutely right in seeking help for her painful periods.
She is lucky to have someone around who takes her symptoms seriously, and getting medical guidance is the best way to ensure she gets the care and support she needs.
While you wait on the next appointment, you my find these pionters helpful too

You're doing the right thing by advocating for her, and I’m sure this will help her feel better and get the right treatment moving forward.
Don't hesitate to keep us updated on both your journeys
best wishes
