I wanted to see how all of us are feeling and what other endo symptoms you feel you struggle with day to day. Personally over the last couple of months I’ve felt very fatigued and mentally exhausted and found it hard to do the things I need to do like studying. This has had an impact on my studies. I’ve been getting really bad aches, feeling like I’ve run a marathon and done intense ab workouts. I have an intense tightening feeling on the left side of my pelvis/abdomen that has been coming and going over the last week. I feel nauseous. I am stressed as it is as my degree is really intense and I feel these symptoms are worsening because of the stress. Does anyone else experience this also? Hope you’re all well! Xx

Hi
I have similar symptoms, I suffer with brain fog, severe fatigue and I'm constantly both mentally and physically exhausted. I have all of this along with daily abdominal pain all the way down my right hip/pelvis and nerve plain in my leg where my calf feels like it’s cramping and I can’t walk on it. The pain relief that my GP has put me on has helped somewhat and my HRT has helped with the brain fog but I am yet to find anything that helps with the fatigue and exhaustion. I struggle with the day to day routine with work still but my work colleagues and family have been amazing.
Sorry I feel like that is a really deep sorry for me post but I’m hoping it raises some awareness that Endo is more than just period pains and that we are not alone in this battle. Fortunately I have a date for surgery that I am really hoping is going to help the pain.
You are not alone.
Hi sorry you are experience all these things. Its tough. I am 4 months post surgery. I would say I only felt more myself about 4 weeks ago however still feel the following:Brain fog
Fatigue
Nausea
Endo bloat
Pelvic pain
Bowel issues
Don't get me wrong far better than presurgery - atleast I can eat and walk better now and get some sleep. But yeah still have daily affects.
Hi,First of all. Great name.
Second. All you mentioned.
Honestly after surgery I was better in regard to painful bowel movements and bloating. But the fatigue was almost chronic. Tried several pills. All had side effects. Guess what? I'm self managing my symptoms with regular exercise and a very healthy diet. Not sure it will work for everyone, but I'm definitely against those who say that surgery and hormonal treatment are the sole treatment options. Because Honestly I've read so many posts here at this stage that say the opposite.
I hope you'll find your self management strategy as well 🥰
I agree with you, I don’t think hormone or any other medication-based treatments have worked for me, I’ve tried different types of diets and keeping fit too, but since I have PCOS too I find it a bit harder. I know that trying to be minimally stressed and having more time to rest helps but doing a masters degree in a medical field isn’t exactly decreasing my stress lol! Thank you for sharing, wishing you the best
Hey you’re not alone I get fatigued very quickly if I do much in a day and a whole day in the office completely wipes me out. Pain in my right side that has got worse, brain fog a lot and endo bloat so I can’t wear certain things anymore. I have recently been getting pain in my sciatic nerve so I can barely walk. To the extent on Monday when I was teaching my yoga class I had to sit on the mat and cue as I couldn’t do anything .
Hopefully you can find something that works for you, be kind to your body and if you need to rest take it. I find sometimes having a chamomile tea helps me relax especially days when endo wants to kick my butt.
Thank you so much for reply and sharing your experience. I do love a chamomile tea and it does help me to calm. I think finding pain management is the hardest part, I don’t want to be on constant meditation but I want to be able to go day-to-day without pain and doing all the things I need to do with the energy I need to do it. I can imagine how your situation would be frustrating too :/ best wishes
