hi I’m really stressed, I had surgery 6 weeks ago for my stage 4 endo and I have been on Pregabalin for a week now. I phoned my gyni to see how much longer I would be in pain for? As I have told them I still am in alot of pain and it feels like endo pain. But now I have the pain in my hips, my left ovaries and also down my legs, I am still using a hot water bottle. It feels like I had a week less pain and it’s slowly coming back. And now my gyni is phoning me tomorrow and I’m so stressed because she said after the surgery she took it all out. Just feel like I’m not getting better and it’s getting me down and I’m trying to keep a brave face but it’s so hard, I lost my job last year due to the illness and obviously I can’t find a new one till the pain is gone

6 weeks post op?

hi Ginge2001,
How you're feeling is common for women like us! I found that after my opp I was expecting the pain to go away almost instantly...it hasn't. With time I have learnt how to moderately manage it.
You may feel less stressed if youre prepared for your doctors phone appointment.
If you'd like to have a more instant conversation with trained representatives
endometriosis-uk.org/web-chat have volunteers who also have endometriosis themselves
However if you still feel stuck on pain management, there's nurse lead support that you can access here
endometriosis-uk.org/nurse-...
They can go through clinical concerns you may have regarding your recovery.
In the meantime, here are some pointers on pain management

I hope your chat with your GP goes well - here if needed
