Contraceptive Injection

hello,

I’m wondering if anyone else has had issues with the injection? I was told it was one of my last options for contraceptive and it should help with my pain because it shuts my ovaries down. 1.5 months into having the injection, I’ve had it twice now, my symptoms get worse, painful cramping all the time, back pain, dragging in the bladder & going by last time I then bled all the way until the next injection.

I’m awaiting investigation for endometriosis so I can’t have a coil, nor do I really want it either but I need some sort of contraceptive!

Anyone had any experience with this also?

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this. Personally I have just opted for condoms as I don't trust any sort of chemicals messing with my hormones which are already a struggle.
