so after nearly 10 years, multiple scans & 2 laparoscopic surgeries I was told I have early stages endo. I’ve been adamant for years and now the gynae have sent me back to GP as they didn’t see enough to cut away so discharged me. I’m also concerned as I’ve had bowel issues since July and had colonoscopy which showed clear, could these be related? Is there anything I can request from the GP?

If you can, request for a MRI. Once I fm told the doctors about the bowel issues and how I was worried it was endo and deeper they referred me for the scan which confirmed it. Hope you find out soon for peace of mind 💜
See I’ve been told many many years ago I’ve always had IBS but now I’m starting to think it’s the endo. I had stool samples come back with inflammation hence the colonoscopy..
i got told i had ibs for 2 years before diagnosis and it was missed on every scan until a specialised mri for endo, keep pushing with the doctors i know it’s difficult but i also knew it definitely wasn’t (just) ibs and eventually got there!
I have really bad bowel issues! I’m literally on the floor in pain for 20/30 mins before going to the toilet and feeling somewhat better (not always) and the toilet bowl often has a lot of blood! I have stage 2 endo, surgery a year ago and my surgeon said no bowel endo but i am convinced there is… 🙄 so back on the waiting list. I already had 2 colonoscopies that were clear so who knows
