Scan results and following appointment.

So I was diagnosed with adenomyosis some time ago and due to other on going symptoms I've recently also had another scan that showed up fibroids have got bigger but hasn't diagnosed endometriosis as yet. The thing is that it took a few years of scans and a specialist sonographer to diagnose the adenomyosis and my understanding is that endometriosis doesn't always show up on ultra sound or internal scan. I am still awaiting an appointment with a specialist gynacologist because of on going pain in my ovary, heavy periods and inter menstrual bleeding plus pains down legs and in bowel. My doctor has pretty much confirmed its endometriosis as well as adenomyosis but now I'm worrying about the gynacologist appointment as don't know if I should ask for a laparoscopy due to the recent scan.

Any advice would be glad of please?
