hi has anyone taken these? Any feedback if it does stop the bleeding or any side effects? Also after you have stopped taking them have you had heavy bleeding again.

Doctor has prescribed them because I’m suddenly bleeding a lot after my marina coil has ran out. This has been going on for 6 weeks now :(

hi, I was in provera for a long time. And I was still bleeding quite heavy. It’s only a short term help.

I tried this but it was awful for me. If you tolerate progestin (which you obviously do if you were OK on the coil) then it may be a solution but it only worked for a short time for me then I started bleeding and my mental health really suffered. Monitor yourself. I have found zoladex much much better for my mental health.

Yes, I used to take them, my periods stopped and I had no issues. Eventually though, after nearly 2 years, I started to get breakthrough bleeding and had to move on to the coil ( which I hated).

I was on these - the bleeding didn't stop and and my mood went through the floor. I made the decision to come off the medication.

I've had a good experience with provera. I take it alongside mercilon. I only get a bleed every 3 months or so and when I do I continue taking provera. My bleeding is alot lighter and generally day to day my symptoms are alot more controlled since taking provera alongside mercilon.
