Laparoscopy follow up

Morning all and Happy New Year.

I had my Laparoscopy at the end of October and have now had my follow up appointment come through for the 10th March.

I can't really remember what the Consultant said to me when I came out of theatre as I was still under the influence. I can remember him saying he could not remove the left ovary and tube as it was all stuck to my bowel and uterus.

My post op note that I was given mentions the recommendation for a a hysterectomy but that my right ovary would be left intact to avoid me going into early menopause.

There is no point to my post other than to say I just constantly feel anxious about what is to come.

I don't have any symptoms, and it was purely by chance that a large endometrioma showed up on an MRI I had done of my back.

Has anyone been told they have a large endometrioma and then just left it rather than have it removed?
