Finally suffered and jumped through enough hoops to be referred for a laparoscopy. Now just to wait 66-71 weeks for the privilege 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank goodness for posts from like-minded people going through the same awfulness to keep me going ❤️

Aww bless you I'm a glad, but what a bloody long wait 😩 what area do you live? I'm finally getting my first gynaecologist/endometriosis clinic appointment on 21st January! I'm hoping they want to just offer a laparoscopy as previous scans have shown nothing 😩 I'm so grateful for this forum!❤️🙏🏻

I’m in Scotland. That was my second gynae app in around 2 years. They wouldn’t even consider taking it further until I’d tried pain meds and mirena coil for a minimum of 6 months. Been a journey 😅

It’s not good at all is it? The consultant really tried to put me off going ahead with the lap but as I explained to her I’m at my wits end and this is a last resort!

I have a mirena coil. I use naproxen which isn’t always enough and cocodamol but I also have digestive issues which are made worse by this 😢 hot water bottles are my best friend really

It's ashame that we all have to wait far too long for surgery, for an illness that effect so much of woman's lives. I'm waiting 2 years for my surgery.
