I am 21 for reference is this a good thing to have ?
What does this mean ? : I had a follow up... - Endometriosis UK
What does this mean ?
Late reply, sorry.
I would understand it to mean that he thinks if you have issues with your endometriosis again, he thinks you should be referred to a specialist centre, as he is not sufficiently qualified to deal with the type of problems you have, as a surgeon in general gynaecology.
He says he left some endo on your ureter, presumably he thought if would not be safe to remove it. The ureters are the tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder. If you were treated at a specialist centre, they would probably ask a urologist to be present at the surgery to deal with this. A stent would be a tube placed in the ureter to keep it open.
He also seems to be saying there is extensive scarring that they might want to treat as well. From what he says, it seems quite likely that you will find you have issues again. If you are concerned, you should go back to your GP, who presumably also has a copy of this letter and ask about getting referred to the specialist centre.
Hope this is of some help x
