Hi all - how do folk manage the constipation? I swing between Diarrhoea during flare ups to constipation the rest of the time. I take codeine/cocodamol so the constipation gets worse 😭 how do you manage this? I drink lots of water and eat plenty fibre and nothing helps

Don’t think I’ve tried that one - I’ve been using stool softeners (dulcolax) and glycerine suppositories (which are awful and don’t help long term) 😂 I also need to be careful as I tend to get a lot of bowel bleeding during flare ups every month 😭
