Recent MRI reveals "Adenomyomatosis of the gallbladder". I've experienced upper abdominal pain for years. I thought it was thoracic endo. Or SIBO.
Of course, the pain has previously been dismissed as being related to endo because of "proximity" - apparently pain in the upper abdomen can't be related to a disease that can literally infiltrate any part of the body!
I thought it might be thoracic endo - diaphragmatic - as I've also experienced rib pain, pain when breathing, upper digestive symptoms (nausea, heartburn, indigestion, swelling) and most recently, shoulder tip pain.
Had an MRI last month & results show nothing on diaphragm & liver (though I know MRI isn't great for picking up on endo in such locations). But states - "Adenomyomatosis of the gallbladder". This apparently means a condition causing the gallbladder wall to thicken and form cysts. It looks and sounds like it could be endo?
Has anyone been diagnosed and/or treated for endo of the gallbladder?
