So ive been sufferwing with burning tummy acid reflux for 5 weeksI take omoerazole 20mg morning and evening and 40mg famatodine before bed.

Yesterday i had enough of the pain i went to a&e. They did ultrasounds and bloods and everything has come back clear, im now waiting for a camera down the throat test as said possible ulcer or gastritis but that never showed in bloods.

They have put me on 40mg omperazole morning and night and still 40mg famatodine, take gaviscon and change diet again to more fibre and probitics.

I have heard endo causes gerd and im just wondering if its a bad case of that and how do everyone control there symptoms

This is just what I have been suffering from and I have an appointment with my endo consultant tmrw so I am going to ask. I have the mirena coil and I wondered if it was caused by the hormones from that or if it is a separate upper GI issue. Hope you feel better soon and I would be interested to hear if you find it is linked to endo.

Im waiting for a camera test now and if they dont find a ulcwr or gastritis they say GERD is common with endo. Im currently on zoledex and hrt waiting for hysterectomy so wondering if its hormone related.

Hope gynae can give u answers ive got just over 2 weeks till my next app
