Was all happy to nip off to the shops on my mobility scooter, when i had an horriffic attack of Endo, and it made me shout out 'OW', so i had to go back and take 2 painkillers. Being menopausal has not stopped it, i feel a bit alone with it. Just wish the pain would go away and not ruin my day.

Hi valgal! I'm so sorry to hear about that, it's so horrible when endo hits at the worst times. It can feel so lonely sometimes. I feel like only people who actually have endo can even start to understand what it's like. It's hard

HRT has helped me with symptoms, heavy bleeding and pain. Do you take any?

Hi 635703, my doctors have not started me on hrt, even though i am menopausal, nor did my gynecologist offer me any help, just told me to stick with the painkillers and that's that after he diagnosed me with endo. I might talk to the doctor about it, thanks for replying

They are supposed to treat the symptoms of menopause and offer HRT now. There are Menopause specialists at the hospitals but waiting lists are huge. Ring Gynes secretary or speak to Endo nurse first. Not all GP’s are trained in menopause treatment
