hello ! I’m nearly 5 weeks post op, walking around but exhausted still. All my incision sites have healed nicely, but it feels like the inside still hasn’t.
My whole like abdomen and lower abdomen area still feels tight and sore. It’s still swollen and so bloated, and the incision sites feel kinda hard and sore to push ? Is that normal ? I don’t have any weird symptoms so I figured it’s not infected or anything. I still can’t do up any of my trousers so walking around and returning to ‘normal’ is really hard.
Any wisdom or advice much appreciated x

completely normal. I am 10 weeks post op and I still have tightness in my lower abdomen. I could not wear normal trousers until about week 6/7 post op and even then it could be uncomfortable. I still have some bloating on occasion. I was always told it takes 3 months for your insides to heal.
morning. Can I ask what surgery you had? I had laparoscopic adhesylosis and removal of left tube and 80% of left ovary 3 weeks ago I am very tired still have incision pain which is sometimes severe and nothing fits me !! Hope you feel better soon x
