Hello so I have stage 4 endometriosis and only had one surgery to remove a cyst in April 2023, I have since been referred to a different gynaecologist to see what they can do as no contraception is working (I have tried 5 different ones this year) but none of them are working as I’m constantly bleeding on them. My MRI back in June shown that my rectum is stuck to my uterus and my ovaries are stuck behind my uterus. No pain relief is working and I have lost my job.
Over a few months I have had this pain at the bottom of my back in my pelvis and it’s at the point now where it’s absolute agony to move. I feel like an old lady and I’m only 22. Anybody had this pain and know any ways I can try reduce it? Thanks

Hi!I had my uterus stuck to my rectum as well. You might consider another surgery made by an endometriosis expert. I don't love them, I don't think they solve the problem, but they can improve the symptoms. In my case helped. Other things are anti inflammatory diet and gentle mobility and yoga to relax the pelvic muscles. They works for me.
hun I had similar issues had three hour surgery to unstick everything back in may I feel like it’s growing back already as am severe. Pains again . I had some relief after surgery but now am in like constant paiN and pressure . I suppose surgery can stop it from getting any worse but unfortunately it’s not something that has a cure yet . So a percentage do get symptoms and the endo grows back quickly or it can give you relief and grows at a slower rate. I had excision surgery and it this present moment my pain meds ain’t even touching the pain. The thing is no one person is the same so something that can help someone else may not help another person . It’s about trial and error . All I can say is it’s an awful disease. Maybe see if you can be seen in pain clinic or go to a pain cafe to help
Take a holistic approach . There were two meds that helped the pain but as I needed to work o ended up coming off them as they made me so spaced out. I would feel like I was there in spirit but not in body. Surgery can be helpful for some others may not even have that much of an improvement . As said everyone s experience is so different. You need to be seen by endometriosis specialist rather than general gynecologist as they are more likely to notice endo where
As general gynecologist could miss things . Take care x
