Hi, I am quite new here but I thought I could catch up with people going through the same. My endo was diagnosed three years ago, I am now 31yo.
Currently I am pn my period and I never experienced before that chest and abdoment “pinching” (?) it feels like short on and off colic pain that happens first time now in this cycle (this s my 2nd cycle since mirena removal).
Anyone experiencing it ?
Also I want to know - how are you dealing with NHS appointments? I had a call 2 weeks ago during which I’ve heard I won’t get any appointment for a 6 mys or 1 year and that I can go privately or a&e “if i really suffer”. I feel constantly ignored, and nothing has been done in follow up, there is no monitoring, no treatment plan (apart from “get mirena”)

The wait times are very frustrating, and yes, I’ve needed to go to A&E fur pain / heavy bleeding - only to get there and spend hours waiting to be seen. Once there, you can then get oral morphine to ease the pain!
I had diagnostic surgery on the 17th of May and I get to find out what was done and what will be next this Friday so the wait for information is ‘normal’
I paid to go private on several occasions and the doctor told me to wait for an Endo specialist appointment which I did. The initial appointment took nearly 18 months to arrive.
I found the private route useful as consultations were not rushed and the results of MRI, CAT scans, possible treatment routes etc were full explained in layman’s terms. However, my Endo is a complicated stage 4 and they said they would not be best placed to operate as it will need a MDT so the private practitioner only explained test results carried out on the NHS.
Not sure I have a pinching feeling during ovulation but I do feel anxiety in my chest at this time which makes me grumpy.
