Negative laproscopy

Hoping I ament alone here. I have been in pain for nearly 10 years, showing all signs and symptoms of endometriosis . Had a few pelvic scans in the past which have showed cysts, a burst follicle once also had pre cancerous cells removed previously. Had another trans vaginal scan and it showed that both my ovaries were adhered to my uterus. Got booked in for a diagnostic laprascopy and they said it was all clear. No endometriosis found. Ovaries were free and moving around no issues. 'm so confused and frustrated. This pain is real and debilitating. And I've now been discharged from gynae to go back to my gp again to determine the cause of my pelvic pain. Could I still have endo? Not sure if it's worth going private to a surgeon who specialises in endometriosis

Sorry to hear you not getting answers. I have been there too. I would suggest keep pushing forward and make sure that any doctor you speak too has extensive knowledge of endo. Sometime writing down your pain and keeping a note of all the indicators that would suggest endo can help. Sometime endometriosis is deep and not visible but it is still there.

Don't give up , you know your body xx

Thank you for reaching out. I was looking into going private to speak to an endo specialist, I'm just worried I pay all that money and going through another op and it's all in my head. The Dr told me I could just be imagining the pain 😔 I don't think I'm crazy but they are making me feel like I am more and more everyday. I will do all of that thank you again xxz

Same here. All the typical symptoms of endo or adeno. Had a lap two months ago which found severe and widespread adhesions but no signs of endo. Asked for a scan, was refused, went for a private scan and told there was nothing to see but also told that an ultrasound can only pick up severe endo. Now waiting for a hysteroscopy and another lap to free my organs from the adhesions, and maybe they'll find something beneath them. It's so frustrating.
