Hi so I’m just wondering wether I should phone the gyni. I have been of all hormones since the 12th March, they gynaecologist said she wasn’t going to give me the coil because she didn’t think it would help due to 3 month of zoladex not working at all. And that she didn’t understand as to why it hadn’t helped me. She said she would put me in for a MRI as soon as possible to get an understanding of how bad the endometriosis had spread and if it was now in my Bowels. And also get a different injection every 3 month. It’s been over a month now since that meeting with the gynaecologist and I havnt heard anything about either as of yet. I have been given another appointment with the gynaecologist next month but still heard nothing about anything that was discussed.
How long has people waited for a mri?
Thanks

I got my pelvic mri scan a week after seen my gynae consultant. It seemed unusually quick but she did see me on a day when I was in mid flare up so maybe that helped. From past experience annoying as it is I’ve always had to go chasing, so I’d recommend phoning your consultants secretary just to make sure your appointment has been requested and take it from there. Good luck and I hope you hear soon
