Healing time for belly button incision (lap) and weeping

Hi, just wondering how long the belly button incision should take to heal following a laparoscopy? And what is 'normal'. The belly button incision seems to be taking the longest to heal compared to the other incisions. And there is some foul smelling weeping (mild). Not sure if this should be a concern. Any advice appreciated. Thank you

Hi, I had redness around mine and they said it looked infected so I had antibiotics. On Friday (day 11) the nurse cut my dissolvable stitch because it was very tight. I literally felt better immediately! By Saturday morning it had dried out and was less pink. See if the GP can take a look or a nurse. Hope all goes well.

Mine took 2 weeks to stop weeping. There was quite a lot of fluid in mine. I had a slight infection and went on antibiotics, i had mild fever and felt rubbish. Had to get the wound redressed twice by a nurse. The second time she cut the dressing in half to let air in and worked a treat to dry it out. If you can get air into it should help. Keep an eye on your temperature. The nurse said mine didn't have a foul smell but if it did its a sign of infection so get it checked x
