I had laparoscopic surgery in July 2023 which found endo that had caused my left ovary to be attached to lining. They detached this and said its now damaged, this is fine as I don't plan on having anymore children. My problem is now I'm convinced its spread but have no idea where I go from here without my gp thinking I'm being dramatic. My current symptoms are horrendous pains around my period and ovulation, spotting and horrendous gastric pains and server nausea ( to the point I can't even look at food). This is happening in the week leading up to my period due date. I'm on omeprazol which help a little but I'm emotionally and physically done thinking I'm going to live my whole life suffering this bad month after month. I've also got all over body pains, people think I'm nuts but the pains In my arms, legs backs are sometime so bad I don't wanna leave the house, my bones and muscles hurts so bad.. i aslo have daily dizzy spells especially in the morning. I use to have around 10-15 good days out of a month I'm now lucky to get 5 pain free days or at least days that i feel normal... I just don't know where to turn to get people to understand what I'm going through. I feel useless to my husband and 3 children as I am just constantly in pain.

Morning. I’m sorry you’re in so much pain, your feelings and symptoms sound very similar to my own- I’ve been feeling isolated and hopeless myself.

After your surgery in July was an MRI not scheduled afterwards?

If you’re in the UK have you been assessed by an endometriosis clinic?

I had my first laparoscopy in August of 2023 & MRI 10 weeks later. I’ve been begging since for an appointment with a specialist.. I only had this appointment last week. If you haven’t already I’d say you need to chase a follow up.

Not what you're looking for?
