Second lap or treat naturally?

I was diagnosed in 2017 with stage 3 Endo. It was fused to my colon. It was excised by a specialist and it helped with the pain, but I remained infertile. I’m now 47 and have been through long covid starting in 2020. I’ve had various GI issues among other various debilitating symptoms. It’s improved but my underlying hormonal issues as well as GI have remained. I’ve tired natural progesterone and it made me feel worse. I’m back on the Annovera ring but it’s been a rocky first few mos with prolonged bleeding and pain. I think my endo is back and it might be flaring GI issues. I am debating whether a second lap is necessary. Has anyone had success with alleviating symptoms from second lap? I don’t want to make things worse. Any experiences/input is greatly appreciated 🙏

Have you considered shutting your ovaries down altogether with an injection like zoladex or prostrap. As you're 47 you are nearing menopause. All my endo and GI symptoms exploded in peri menopause and I have had a tough 2 years but I'm on zoladex now with addback HRT (optional) and it's calming it all down. I'm still bleeding but not as much. It's very good for managing pain and bloating. I have stage 4 endo and had an abandoned hysterectomy last year due to fusing of organs. I tried provera continuously but it made me ill. Read up about the injections and don't be put off by the stories - it's a good option for women nearing menopause who don't want another operation. Good luck x
