Second opinion Dr implies no Endo!

Hi Everyone!

So I work abroad on and off and in the UK, I was ‘kinda’ diagnosed with endometriosis, based on a teeny tiny left side ovary cyst they found and the fact that my womb or something was stuck to the back wall of something (uterus?) 🙈🙈 so in the country where I am working, I finally managed to get my healthcare insurance sorted out and the doctor here suggested that I get a second opinion from a specialist out here - in a private American hospital. So I did - has the internal scan 2 days ago and they said that there is no cyst on my left ovary and that my uterus wall is thicker than normal for a woman who has never given birth. If I had given birth, it would be normal. She said that the normal thickness is 5cm and mine is 7.5cm. My main concern is that some months, my periods are very heavy and unbearable, and can stop my daily activities for a few days and the pain can be bad. But then other months I am absolutely fine - zero pain, even if the bleeding is heavy, but doesn’t stop my daily activities. So, the doctor prescribed me with tranexamic acid and some sort of pain killers to take when my period are heavy and painful. This tranexamic acid helps to lighten the flow of period.

This will have no affect on mood swings etc as it’s not a hormone. I had horrendous experience taking Zelleta, which prolonged my periods with all the bells and whilst of bad mood, ratiness etc and was hell on earth! I am assuming now that I am technically not an endometriosis patient.

Has anyone taken this pill and how did you find it? Thank you ☺️
