Endometrioma is not an emometrioma

Hi all, I had a laproscopy 9 days ago to remove a perisitant 5cm cyst that on ultrasound due to "diffuce low level internal echos" on the ultrasound report was classed as probably being an Endometrioma .

I had it removed and the consultant briefly saw me afterwards (but I was very out of it and he is a man of few words) said it was not an Endometrioma as the fluid was more clear . He said he has sent it off to be tested but can take weeks.

So I'm not sure what type of cyst it actually is. Does anyone know what echos can mean in a cyst if blood isn't present ? Does this mean there was a mass in it ?

I know I have I'll find out soon but driving myself a little crazy searching the internet for what this means !
