Chest tightness and pain during period

Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and know a possible reason for chest tightness and pain that started exactly when my period did a few weeks ago. I had really heavy bleeding and very painful cramps and at the same time had a sudden tightness and pain in my chest that was on and off during my period. Saw a doctor who was happy it was nothing heart related but wondered if this could be linked with endo worsening? I've noticed a whole load of things getting worse, such as pelvic cramps, sciatic pain now in both legs, even heavier bleeding but wondered if the new chest pain is related to endo?

Hi, I have similar and have been seen numerous times for chest pains. All ECGs and bloods always ok.

I recently had another episode. I spoke to my gynaecologist and she said it could be endometriosis on the diaphragm. I’m sue a laparoscopy in feb so they are going to make sure they check my diaphragm too. Xx

I have this and I have confirmed Endo on my diaphragm. It’s got slowly more noticeable and now it’s really quite sore. I’ve started having chest infections too which I’ve never had before so I think that might be related. I have sciatica type pain too.

Hi,what a good question. I had that too and as I never had this in my life and rearly caught even it is strange. I had stage 4 endometriosis execution operation last year, but it never helped and now have all this extra symptoms that appeared. Interesting to see how other people feel. I have an appointment with a specialist in February to discuss another operation hopefully and possibly hysterectomy and ovaries removed as seems like last one didn't had a much help and will talk to him about that. If all your blood tests are normal it is worth getting endometriosis specialist to rule out any migration of endo to chest cavity.,, rare but possible
