does anyone else feel worse once their period is coming to an end/ ended?
I have significant stage 4 Endo and adeno and in constant pain, tried multiple treatments none of which have done much to help.
Pain during period is off the scale and I’m usually relieved when it comes to an end but recently I’ve noticed in many ways I feel worse once it’s ended.
Like completely and utterly fatigued with zero energy to even make a phone call and feel so very weak.
so fed up of this disease it has literally taken over my life now.

Yes completely yes, glad I'm not the only one and it's awful, currently on my period now and I've had horrendous pain and when it's done I feel like I've been run over by a fleet of buses and just can't get enough sleep or feel awake. I was diagnosed with endometriosis that had spread to bladder and rectum in 2018 and not been seen surgically since so its probably spread more since then.
So sorry you’re going through this too. Your case sounds so similar to mine as well, with it affecting the bowel and bladder plus everything else within the pelvis. My last pelvic surgery was I 2018 too. It’s a nightmare. In many ways the exhaustion is worse than pain as there’s literally nothing that helps. Relieved I’m not the only one too though 🤣xx
There really isn't and no matter how much we eat the healthiest diet and take supplements and try a gentle walk or yoga it doesn't help. So glad I'm not the only one who feels like this and sending you lots of love and hugs.
I also have stage 4 endometriosis, period ended yesterday but am still in pain and most time I feel very tired despite taking lot of supplements. Please how are you coping with work. I am currently doing flexible part time work.
So sorry you’re suffering with this too. It’s awful. Sadly after almost 20 years of working full time I had to stop as it became impossible, fortunately my employer had income protection insurance so that continues to pay me half my wage.
I do keep wanting to look at part time flexible roles though as if they were remote I feel it would be good to have something to keep my mind occupied. How do you find it? Is it too much?
Best wishes to you, I really hope you get some relief soon too ❤️
Yes! I've recently been diagnosed with stage 4 and endo on the bowel and ovaries, bowel and uterus stuck together etc. I would say my pain had really been increasing over the last 18 months, finally went to the GP in Sept about my pain and had an MRI and full diagnosis in Dec. Up until Sept sort of time I would say my severe pain began around 2/3 days before my period and then eased after day 3 or 4 of my period. Now I'm not always getting the pre period pain, but it's continuing for longer and longer after my period has ended. I also wonder if part of that is lack of sleep and knock on effects from the flare ups. I often get my worst flare up of pain overnight on day one or two which means I'm most of the night and I tense up so much during my bad flare-ups that I ache muscularly for days as well so it ends up feeling all body.
Hey, I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. It sounds very similar to mine as well.
That’s exact same as me, yesterday I just couldn’t move feeling like I ached all over and literally had no energy to barely even walk to the bathroom. It’s awful. The overnight pain too, especially the intestinal/ bowel elements of the pain are excruciatingly pain and unpredictable at times.
Best wishes to you, I will follow you so we can keep in touch xx
