I started experiencing cyclical pain last summer, after ultrasound and mri they noted I had an 8cm endometioma on one ovary and DIE behind my other ovary. In February they said I would be discussed at mdt with endo specialist. In March I was told to wait for an appointment. In October I turned up to discover I was in a general gyn clinic and only offered a hysterectomy. I've been phoning the listed endo expert at the hspt every week and finally got through to the secretary yesterday and I detailed everything I've read here and she said oh well that's not how we do it... I feel stuck, exhausted with pain, anemic with associated symptoms please I have no idea ehat to do now our local bgsc is 20 miles away but without a referral and I cannot wait anymore

Hi
Your GP can refer you to the other hospital, they can refer anywhere that does NHS. Get them to do it as urgent. Have you considered paying for a consultation?
It’s no good having a hysterectomy without removing Endo as well. It doesn’t just disappear. They are saying these things to reduce the lists I’d guess. Could unfortunately be taking your age into this which is so wrong.
Hi, I don’t have any advice sorry but There’s a F B group called “Endometriosis Guidance and Information Resource UK (EndoRevisited)” which is really helpful with stuff like this.
