gyno appointment

Hey girls!

So i’m on the list for opp and they rang today for a review appointment with my gyno. I’m just wondering what type of questions would be best to ask? I feel like i have loads of things to ask but when i go to write them down my mind blanks.

It’s mostly a check up i believe as last time i saw him (last year) he said i should go on the coil, which when looking into this i just didn’t feel comfortable being out on this. I wanted something to help the pain and my day to day life to improve, i’ve cut gluten and milk out and i have felt so much better and the pain isn’t as bad.

Not sure if there is main things i should pick up while i am there, or do i just go with the flow? I’ve started to get my voice with the doctors now and i’m honestly sick and tired of the brushing off with them.

My period is 1 day a month now, but that one day i can’t move from the pain and the blood i am having is so scaring and blood clots, (i have photos, to show and question) The week before which i call the build up is horrible, im drained with the pain, im sick with the pain too.

Sorry for ranting hah - but my question is what is the best type of questions to ask them? If that’s a thing haha

It can be an individual thing, but as soon as you think of something write it down, keep adding and then review and print to take with. Never rely on memory it just disappears at an appointment 🤦‍♀️🙄🤣

Do you want to know about op and what they’ll do? Questions on Endo? Have you had a diagnosis?

Don’t rely on any flow, if they can avoid questions they will.

Make sure they know all your symptoms, do you get any bowel issues around period time? Or otherwise even. You’ve put some down, do you get any symptoms at two weeks/ovulation? Anything might be relevant. Ask why another appointment? Unless you were given the info.

Ask what happens if they see Endo on the bowel? Can they remove it?
