Hi

Just a bit a moan really. Feeling totally exhausted, fed up, and could easily just curl up and tell the world to do one today. Been bleeding since March with barely any break last time 37 day with a two day break. Second prostap yesterday feel rough. But hey ho the sun is shining, I’ve got jobs to do so big breath and off I go.

It's good to get it all out in a rant and I'm so sorry you're having a rubbish time! Sometimes all you can do is survive and that's okay x

I feel you. I’m in clinical menopause so I don’t have the bleeding problems you describe, but the pain I have is debilitating and I often just want to curl up as you have described.

I hope today was a better day for you x

Hi

Thank you for replying, currently in pjs after bubble bath, going to take some paracetamol and tranexamic acid and try and get more than the 3hrs 45 min sleep I had last night. Not feeling as bad as earlier. Onward and upward not going to let it beat me. Good luck with your health journey.

Oh bless you, and I really do hope you get a better night’s sleep. I’ve recently been prescribed amatryptaline and it’s been the only thing to keep me asleep so far.

Wishing you all the best xx

I’m sure that it must. Reading posts here,I have such admiration for so many, battling for an even keel amongst a nasty condition.

I’m new to this journey but can see how an ear from people travelling a similar road must be an immense comfort for both positive and negative days.

Wishing you all the best X

Hi, sorry you're feeling like this, I can totally relate. I've been bleeding with a weeks break now and again for a year due to the mini pill. Now on prostap , pain is better but hrt makes me bleed and not sleep properly so generally feel rubbish all the time . Some days I just want to shut myself in a cupboard and not come out! But we don't, we carry on because we're strong and determined that this won't take over.Hang in there, sending lots of hugs x

Thanks. Yes we just silently scream inside, paint on the smile and trudge on. Thought I was feeling better then a letter to go for my smear arrived this morning. Great (not) at the best of times. Got me really annoyed, impossible to book a smear when you’re bleeding for 37-39 days with a two day break and you never know what each day will bring. Another thing this pain of a condition is controlling. Back to consultant in August see if he agrees to put pen on paper for my hysterectomy. Taking my frustration out on chopping veg for coleslaw and angrily grating carrots lol!

Hi, I took norethisterone for 3 days before my smear ,on the Dr's advice. It didn't stop the bleeding completely but made it much lighter . The nurse told me they can do smears whilst your bleeding as long as its not really heavy. I also took ibuprofen before I went. Hope that helps x
