just a recommendation of a book ive found incredibly useful’ heal endo katie edmonds’

its the first book ive come across that goes into so much detail scientific about the disease , why it can occur, the complexities within the body, that its not just ‘bad periods’ and gives helpful advice on how to manage it and reduce symptoms.

Its such a complex disease i didn’t realise how much was involved and how much we can control ourselves to help symptoms/reduce inflammation.

definitely worth a read ladies

i already am quite active person i just need to get a handle on the food and improve a few areas

Thank yu for sharing! This looks really great and good to have things I have thought for a while put together in such a great way. I have been intuitively working toward this over the past 4/5 years (I didn't know initially that Endo was part of the culprit but was just generally thinking to reduce inflammation). First starting with a 3 month gut turnaround, then a low histamine diet and building a regular meditation practice. Starting the day and each meal with something raw to build good gut flora and not eating inflammatory foods, took out sugar, cow dairy (I have goat/sheep), white carbs, caffeine and most booze. It felt pretty miserable at points but it has helped massively. Also cold water dipping and some big lifestyle/behaviour changes. It has all helped and the notion of systemic approaches really fits with my experience.
