Anxiety/ panic attacks/ palpitations during period?

Anyone? I've noticed on my last period and now this one I'm getting lots of anxiety and panic attacks and my heart races. It's becoming really uncomfortable. No other symptoms.v

Then it'll go away only to come back later or next day. Is this normal? I'm 49 and premenopausal could this be it? I already hate having periods because they're painful as I have endometriosis and now this seems to have been added into the mix! Is this a new endo symptom??

Anyone know how to stop these? Or is it just a hormonal thing? I've no idea. Apart from this my health if fine, have low iron that I'm taking iron tablets for, but nothing major.

Its likely this is linked to menopause. I would discuss HRT with a doctor but ensure it’s someone who specialises in menopause though as you don’t want the HRT aggravating your endo. Perhaps try a low dose.

I have this too. I'm on a low level dose of anti anxiety med which definitely helps. Outside of that, just tried lots of techniques to help control anxiety until I found some that worked!
