Hi again!

Does anyone else suffer with increased anxiety when their endo is bad? I find the worse my endo is getting the worse my Anxiety is and even stated having panic attacks which is new! Xx

Yes!

But I’ve always had anxiety/panic attacks. It definitely contributes to it being more frequent, though.

I always get anxiety when I'm really nauseous because I have a phobia of sick which then causes me to feel even worse 😭 I have got better and less anxious accepting my nausea is part of me and wont cause anything more to happen also cutting out gluten has meant I no longer has spells where I nearly am sick 😮

For me, my anxiety is hormonal, worry, with lack of sleep, pain and concerns about coping with everything from driving to acting normal and able to be who I was when well.

Every month I get terrible anxiety a day or two before my period arrives. It’s usually the first sign that my period is on its way.

Only when I eat wheat/sugary diet. I get light sensitivity with it too.

Big hugs. I have also started to have panic attacks. I've been putting it down to post operative traumatic stress but do wonder if there is a connection as my digestive system has also gone haywire and I've developed reflux esophagitis and gastritis.

Absolutely. It's actually really common. Pain can definitely increase anxiety.

I find my pain is now in my upper abdomen and back and I do really worry that it could be something more sinister all the time 😥 Xx
