Nerve Block for Pudendal Neuralgia

Hello,

I have confirmed Endometriosis and possible IC. I am scheduled for a nerve block for suspected Pudendal Neuralgia. It was explained to me thoroughly and I've read up a bit - I try not to have too many expectations, but it seems potentially promising in addressing some pain and at the very least will provide some clarity.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this that they could share?

Was it painful at all? What was your experience after that fact, any difference in pain or were you fairly functional afterwards? Grateful for any experience around this procedure as it's new to me -- I've had chronic pelvic pain for years now and I had never even heard of pudendal neuralgia until I saw this pain management provider.

Thank you x
