36 days and still no period...

Hi all,

I'm 36 days into my cycle but still no period!

This is the first time this has ever happened to me before; I'm ususally regular (26-28 days, occasionally 30 days)

I feel as if my body is trying to start a period (little bit of aching, pulling down sensations, little bit of pain occasionally, heavier breasts...my normal pre-period symptoms) but no blood is coming out...

I've done pregnancy tests and all have come back negative; I havent changed anything in my eating or exercise habits, I'm not any more stressed than usual (though I am now!), I'm not on any form of hormone control....anyone got any ideas as to why this would just suddenly happen?

What do i do?!

I think it can just happen randomly. I’m generally very regular and a couple of months ago my cycle was 39 days. Unless it’s happening a lot, I’d say it’s just one of those things.

hi you don’t say what age you are, but perhaps get an appointment with a nurse at your doctors surgery to discuss your worries, she may be able to book you for an ultrasound to check things out. Hope you soon have the answer you are hoping for.
